Solihull's MP and Liberal Democrat Small Business Spokesperson, Lorely Burt will deliver the keynote speech on how best to support business growth in the regions at her party's conference later this month.
Lorely will address a fringe meeting sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), which has 132,000 members worldwide.
Commenting on the first tentative signs of recovery in the economy, Mrs Burt will stress the important role that banks need to play in making finance available to fund business recovery growth.
She will say that banks must apply due diligence to make sound loans, but they must also make the process of lending money quicker and far more easy as businesses seek to improve their trading position.
Michael Izza, Chief Executive of ICAEW will launch his Association's own General Election Manifesto, saying that the tax and regulatory system needs to be simplified in order for entrepreneurs and innovators to be able to turn good ideas into business success.
